Russian trade representative in Germany spoke about the work of the German business

German business uses maximum opportunities to work in Russia contrary to the position of the EU, Russian Trade Representative in Germany Andrei Sobolev said in an interview with the media.

"From my point of view, the German business, by its actions on the Russian track, sets an example of healthy pragmatism and independent thinking throughout the EU. Acting within the framework of the specified "rules", it goes against the general flow and uses its capabilities in Russia to the maximum", - said Mr. Sobolev.

"According to the survey of the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce, 95% of German companies doing business with Russia, in 2018, advocated the lifting of sanctions. The Eastern Committee of the German Economy takes an active position in favor of lifting sanctions and restoring constructive and mutually beneficial relations.
